Disruptor: A brief history

Local Roots

Disruptor Professional Services Company LLC was created by Bucks County native Raymond Keely. Raymond grew up in a family that operated several small businesses in the area and learned how to be successful in southeastern Pennsylvania. He came up in a household where finances and book keeping were constant topics of conversation as the family business continued to expand throughout his adolescence.

Following high school Raymond began working for a local banking institution. He spent several years working his way from a bank teller, to a loan originator, to a mortgage office assistant. During this time he built an extensive knowledge base of personal and business finances.

Branching out

In the early 2000s Raymond left PA for a short time and began doing the work that would ultimately become Disruptor Services. Raymond began working as an independent book keeper, taking on small business and residential clients. He then returned to Pennsylvania and began a long career in IT systems support and deployment. During this time he created operational and logistic efficiencies that saved his employers millions. All the while continuing to assist a small collection of clients with book keeping, small business analysis and independent consultation. He honed the craft of IT networking installation and management as well as installation of commercial and residential audio/video systems. The work was lucrative and fulfulling but kept Raymond away from home much of the year.

Rampant growth

In 2015 Raymond left the corporate world to return to a more self directed lifestyle and Disruptor Professional Services was born. Raymond expended his support and book keeping services to include full service business consultation and contracting. Several early contracts revolved around the restaurant and food services industries which Raymond had grown up in. He has helped to create and implement business plans for restaurants in Bucks and Berks County while managing municipal and independent contracts.

Established skillset

Before long Raymond had developed a reputation as an out of the box thinker and solutions creater for a wide variety of local industries. Ray is an artist, craftsman and musician and tends to lend his services towards those creators who are too busy honing their craft to be troubled by the minutiae of running a business. As a painter and sculptor he works within the creative process. As a carpenter and mason, he understands what is needed to get a job done correctly the first time. As a musician, he knows that timing can be everything.

Operating as Disruptor Professional Services, Raymond brings over 20 years of book keeping and financial analysis to the creators, crafts people and artists of South Eastern Pennsylvania.
